My practice is located on Hayling Island, Hampshire within easy reach of Havant and Emsworth.Counselling is a safe place to explore personal issues. My aim is to provide such a counselling experience in my practice on Hayling Island.
Where Counselling Can Help
I am an experienced counsellor who has worked with many different issues including the following:- Depression
- Bereavement
- Abuse
- Low self-esteem
- Eating disorders
- Stress
- Anger
Many of us will have times in our lives when we may need someone to talk to. Often talking to family and friends can be helpful, but it may be that this seems too difficult, or that the issues are at home. This is why talking to someone who is impartial may help.
Continued Personal Development is extremely important to me, and I regularly attend training. I believe in providing a safe environment where clients can explore difficult themes, and gain insight into how to become freer to make positive choices in their lives.Previously to training as a counsellor I worked as a Samaritan, a volunteer youth worker, an Interact Mentor (for young people), and as a support worker for the mental health charity Mind.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling (BACP).
